A customer is an individual who either shopped in the org stores or registered their mobile number or email with the org irrespective of the consent on further engagement through the shared identifiers.

In Capillary, there are three different types of customers for an org.

  1. Loyalty customers:  Customers who share their primary identifiers such as the mobile number and email ID with the org with the consent of enrolling in the org's loyalty program, promotions, and future communications.

  2. Non-Loyalty customers: Customers who share their information such as the mobile number and email id with the org without the consent of enrolling in the org's loyalty program, promotions, or future communications.

  3. Anonymous customers: Customers who do not share their contact details (mobile number or email ID) with the org but make transactions. These customers are neither part of loyalty nor promotion programs. The transactions of anonymous customers are captured as not-interested and used for reporting.
